Charleston {Part Three}

 Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing PART THREE of our Charleston trip! In case you missed it, you can find parts one and two HERE. So, here's how we spent our Thursday in Charleston.....

We got up, got ready, and headed to the Charleston City Market. This was such a neat place to walk through. We didn't buy anything, but we looked at everything!

This was one place I wanted to find most! Obviously, it's not THE The Black Dog from Taylor Swift's song, but it's close enough for now 😉.

Back on King Street for a bit more shopping. I went in Sephora to replenish some moisturizer, but that's all. Nothing too exciting.

And then I got some house inspo down by the Battery.....

I mean. Stunning, right???

We just walked along here for a bit.

And then we decided it was time for lunch. This place was highly recommended to us, and my sister said she is pretty sure she's eaten here. It was good- Caleb said it was his favorite place we ate all week. I'm not a big seafood lover, but I did think it was good.

At lunch, we decided to go to Middleton Place Plantation....

It's always so neat and very humbling to learn about the history of places like this.

On our way to Middleton Place, I saw a sign for Le Creuset, so I looked it up. It ended up just being offices, but in my search I discovered the greatest thing in the world....Le Creuset has an OUTLET. I had no idea!! We went in a few other stores at the outlet mall before heading back to the hotel to decide on dinner.

My steps so far! By the end of the day, I had 13,803- 6.39 miles. If only I could do that every day 😂.

A little OOTD moment. I received so many compliments on this dress! I changed from my sneakers to Birkenstocks for dinner, because #blisters. Boo.

We had pizza for dinner and then walked back to the pier and park we visited on night one.

Ok, one more part left!! Buckle up, because our Friday was a wild one! I'm going to have to save that one for next week, though.

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
