Friday Favorites {8.30.24}

 Happy happy Friday!! As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week!

A Christmas tea in August! My favorite Christmas tea is called "Jingle Bell Juice," and I actually got this one made into a "specialty," so it has protein in it! YUM.

A new Aldi find!! I have never seen this at my store before. I was hoping it would taste like Trader Joe's ranch, and it kinda does! I'm not a big Hidden Valley fan, so this is much better in my opinion.

Y'all know my love for Mimi Seabrook, but it's not just for the clothes and accessories. Every time I get an order, it's packaged with a Bible verse card and a hand written, personalized note on the order slip. I think it really sets them apart from other boutiques, and it's really part of the reason I continue to order from them!

After seeing SO many good things about Olive and June, I decided to just go for it. I ordered the long-lasting top and a long-lasting shade (Strawberry Scone). I love the color! Though I did not get 10 days of wear, I did get almost a week without any chipping! I think a lot has to do with nail prep, which I did not do well when I first used these products. I've been using the top coat along with OPI shades too, and it still gives me several days of wear! Right now, I am on day 5 of a mani that still looks really great!

Have a great weekend!

  1. I do find nail prep and a good top coat are key for getting a manicure that really lasts. That pink color is so pretty!

  2. Ohh! I love the idea of a Christmas tea in August. Yours looks so good.
    That is so cute, the notes from Mimi Seabrook. It's the personal touch that makes me want to shop at places like that.

One year ago, I set out to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I have loved this year of blogging! If you come here each week to read my blog, THANK YOU!! I appreciate your support more than you know!  I have loved the truffles from Aldi, so when I saw these chocolates I knew I had to try them. They are AMAZING. I've been eating a bit of some each night after dinner! If you see them, grab them!  I think I feel more like an adult when I have fresh flowers in the kitchen ๐Ÿ˜‚. These red carnations are so cheerful!  A couple months ago, Caleb decided we needed an espresso machine...so on Black Friday he found one on a pretty good deal and went for it. We're considering it our Christmas to each other ๐Ÿ˜‰. Friends, I mean it when I say if I never go back to Starbucks again, I would
