Fall Favorites

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I know it isn't quite fall yet, but I have a few favorite things that will carry me into the season!

CANDLES!!

Y'all know I love love love a candle, but they are better during the "ber" months!!

These two basically smell the same, but they are amazing! I discovered last year that I love apple scented things. When I saw the apple spice candle, I had to get it! My sister found the wicked apple and got it for me!

Pumpkin Coffees

As much as I love a PSL or pumpkin cream cold brew from Starbucks, this creamer is what I'm drinking most of the time during the fall! Luckily, our Kroger has been well stocked the past few weeks! And to drink those pumpkin coffees....

Cute Fall Mugs!

My grandmother got me this recently, and I love it! I think a cute mug makes a cup of coffee taste even better!

Wine

This isn't necessarily "fall" themed, but I feel like certain wines are better for the fall! Now, I drink red or white year round, but I really enjoy these three (pinot noir, cabernet, chardonnay) when it starts getting cooler! There's also a wine from Trader Joe's that I am dying to try after seeing now two years in a row on Tik Tok. It's called Witches Brew, and it's apparently amazing.....we'll see if I can get my hands on a bottle soon!

Dark Polish Colors

I know I have shared a ton about my nails lately, but for good reason! I'm obsessed with fall polish colors! These colors are Yoga-ta Get this Blue, That's What Friends are Thor, and CIA=Color Is Awesome. I also have some other favorites listed here.

Movies and TV Shows

I'm itching to watch Hocus Pocus, but I thought I would wait until October. Should I go ahead and just do it???

I also like to watch episodes of my favorite tv shows that are fall or Halloween themed....like the episode of Friends where Rachel is newly pregnant and gives that one little girl all the candy and then resorts to giving out money 😂.

Happy almost fall!! We are getting sooooo close!

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
