Friday Favorites {9.13.24}

 Happy Friday the 13th! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some favorites from the week!

Anyone watch the VMAs on Wednesday?

From wining the first award of the night.....

to the last! I love it! I think she is now the most awarded artist in VMA history! I loved Flavor Flav's excitement, too! In addition to this, I was so happy that Chappell Roan won best new artist, and Sabrina Carpenter's performance was awesome!

Something funny from the week. Yep, that's me ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Ok, this may be weird to some. I know, it's a little weird to me too. Apparently it's a "thing" in some parts of the Midwest to eat cinnamon rolls with chili. It was ok. It wasn't like life changing or anything, but it also wasn't nasty. I made Shay's Chipotle Turkey Chili- my favorite! (I make it on the stove, and I skip the corn)

I'm back to making bracelets for The Eras Tour! Less than 50 days! YAY! My sister is going with a Lover theme, so I made this one for her.

Guess what Aldi has?? Fall flavored chocolates! Honestly, they are not that good though. Bummer. I do really like the almond maple one, and I kind of like the fall berry. The pumpkin spice and caramel apple are definite nos for me though. I'm ready for the Christmas ones now!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. I could get used to eating cinnamon rolls with chili; I'm not a huge fan of chili but I do LOVE cinnamon rolls.

  2. I saw some of the VMAs, Taylor Swift did so well!
    Cinnamon rolls and chili does sound like an odd combo but I now feel like I want to try it.

One year ago, I set out to do something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I have loved this year of blogging! If you come here each week to read my blog, THANK YOU!! I appreciate your support more than you know!  I have loved the truffles from Aldi, so when I saw these chocolates I knew I had to try them. They are AMAZING. I've been eating a bit of some each night after dinner! If you see them, grab them!  I think I feel more like an adult when I have fresh flowers in the kitchen ๐Ÿ˜‚. These red carnations are so cheerful!  A couple months ago, Caleb decided we needed an espresso machine...so on Black Friday he found one on a pretty good deal and went for it. We're considering it our Christmas to each other ๐Ÿ˜‰. Friends, I mean it when I say if I never go back to Starbucks again, I would
