Hello Monday {10.7.24}

 Hello Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah to share all about mine....

We started off my favorite way...

Friday night Mexican!! I got the traditional Mexican tacos and they were delish!

Walking out of the restaurant, one side of the sky looked like this. And the other.....

looked like this. Yikes.

We ran in Academy, and about 2 minutes after we walked in, it started pouring! We killed a little time inside and luckily it stopped pretty quickly.

I headed straight to the shower when we got home. I sure love Mexican food, but the smell it leaves on my hair and clothes is not my fave. When I got out, I read for a bit.

Caleb bought the DVD set of Friends several years ago, so we busted those out and started watching for probably the 25th time. No joke- it's our favorite 😂. The DVDs have all the deleted scenes, so those are fun to watch!

We spent most of Saturday on the couch. Neither of us felt good at all. Our super easy red beans and rice was perfect for dinner!

I made a cup of tea before bed.

Sunday morning we both felt SO much better!

I saw this at Aldi, and I was very intrigued. I didn't get it, though. I don't think my love for pumpkin spice is quite that extreme- ha!

Do y'all see this????? EMPTY laundry basket! Woohoo! I cannot take credit, though. This was all Caleb!

We were out running some errands and ran in Marshall's to look for hangers. Well, I got sidetracked by all the Christmas things. I grabbed these napkins.

And a candle. This one is a favorite!!

And how cute is the lid?

Car wash for Caleb.

And then one for me! A clean car always makes me feel like it's brand new!

We had a McDonald's craving, so this was dinner last night! While we ate, we watched Mall Cop 2- I don't think I had ever seen it before, but it was cute and funny!

Have a great Monday!!

My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {8.29.25}

 Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
