DIY Ornament Wreath

 Happy Tuesday! I am getting very much into the Christmas spirit and decided to change my decor colors after I had already put out all of my stuff. Anyway, I decided to make a little DIY ornament wreath after I saw it last year on IG (@annesnowlifestyle is where I got the idea!). 

This was my inspo....

this is the one Anne made. So dang cute! I found some wreaths like this online, because I wasn't sure if I wanted to actually make one....but after seeing some for almost $200, I decided making one would be fun 😂.

So, here is everything I used....

I got the base and the big pack of ornaments from Michaels. The other ornaments were from Walmart (the red balls may be Amazon.) The ribbon is also Walmart. I hot glued the ornaments to the wreath base and some I just glued to other ornaments. I probably could have kept going, but I ran out of the smaller size ornaments. 

And for my finished product....

I think it turned out really cute! I do like the way the one in the inspo pic is more full, but I do really like mine too! It was actually a lot easier than I thought and was not as stressful as I thought either- ha!

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
