Hello Monday {12.16.24}

 Happy Monday! I am linking up with Holly and Sarah to share all about our weekend!

Ok, we all know that I am horrible about taking pictures- one of my goals for 2025 is to take more pictures!! This is the only one I got on Friday....

Post dinner! We had Mugshots, but bummer....their carbonation was messed up so I wasn't able to get a Diet Coke 😂 We also rode around and looked at Christmas lights after dinner!

I worked on Saturday, so a tea was necessary!

We had Oby's for dinner, and it was delish as always!

Sunday morning church.

Lunch at Lost Pizza. Then we grocery shopped.

I cleaned out my bathroom cabinet, cleaned my makeup brushes and sponges, and then I cleaned up our office just a bit (it's still a hot mess so no pics 😂😂)

In the middle of cleaning out, I ordered a 2025 planner! I haven't actually used a planner in several years. I actually think I said that I would never buy another planner again, because I am terrible at using them. But, I really just need one. And I'm going to NEED to keep up with using it- ha! Another 2025 goal, I guess. I'm also just realizing that I got the academic planner which honestly might be best for me!

I *think* we have all but TWO gifts bought and wrapped! YAY!

Have a happy Monday!

  2. I am the same way with planners! I love them but so rarely actually use them once I have one. Good luck keeping that goal going in the new year. It sounds like a fun weekend.

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
