My Least Favorite Christmas Movies

Happy Tuesday! Ok, last year I shared all of my favorite Christmas movies, but I was thinking about all of the movies that I refuse to watch or simply cannot stand to watch during this season....

The Polar Express

The too life like animation just bothers the heck out of me. This is one that I grew up watching, but I just cannot watch it anymore. Ugh. Anyone else???

The Santa Clause

Another one that just bothers me. The Jack Frost character always annoyed me so much- ha!

The Grinch

It doesn't matter if it's the animated version. It doesn't matter if it's the live version. It does not matter if this is your favorite movie ever and think I just need to give it a try. I will not EVER watch The Grinch. Nothing irks me more than walking into a store at Christmas and seeing all of the Grinch themed Christmas decor. I just cannot do it. Why? I could not tell you!

The Family Stone

This one is a new to me movie. I just watched it for the first time last year, but goodness I do not like it. It is a TRAIN WRECK in my opinion. The whole movie is terrible, but the ending is especially terrible. That being said, I did watch it again last night just to see if it was as bad as I remembered. Yeah, just as bad.

Ok, now that I may have ruined your day.....😂 I hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
