House to HOME {Part Four}

 Happy Thursday, friends! Ok, so I started this little series nearly TWO years ago. That is insane to me. Making our house a home is definitely a marathon, not a sprint! This is not our forever home, but I want it to be as beautiful and welcoming as possible while we do live here.

Well, it finally happened. I would really love to know how many times I complained about those heinous curtains that hung in this room when Caleb lived here by himself and did not care that they were nowhere near touching the ground....ha! We ordered these shades from Amazon, and I am obsessed! We put in all of the measurements, mount type, lift mechanism, and liner. We ordered them on December 27, and they arrived at our house January 13. So far, we love them!!

I shared these MK Decker hydrangea prints before, but they are just so pretty next to the shades!

And for another MK Decker moment, we got this "Wonderstruck" print to hang in our bathroom! I love it!

Dare I say, I think our room is DONE. Now to figure out what to work on next 😂. Have a great day!

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea.
