Currently: April 2025

Happy Wednesday!! Today I am linking up with Jenn for her monthly blog series, Currently! Today we are talking about all of the things we are CURRENTLY....

Loving, adding to cart, reading, watching, and listening to! Let's get into it...

Loving

COFFEE. I seriously go to sleep thinking about my morning cup of coffee. It's my very favorite part of my day. Here's my current coffee situation that I am LOVING...

My K-Cup of choice.

And for when I don't need any more caffeine.

And my current creamer. Sometimes I like sweet, sometimes I don't. My favorite from Chobani is the cookie dough flavor, but I can never find it anywhere. White chocolate mocha is a close second!

Adding to cart

Ummmmm....this is currently IN my cart, but unfortunately I will not be clicking "pay now". Someone with a higher budget than me, please buy (and maybe let me borrow??!!) 😂😂

Reading

Here's what I read in March!

As for April, I am starting out with Normal People by Sally Rooney. I'm also thinking I need another audio book on my list!

Watching

Abbott Elementary and Happy's Place! Two favorites right now! Abbott is about to wrap up the current season, and I have just a couple episodes of Happy's Place to catch up on.

Listening to

Since it's almost been out for a whole year...

I am thinking that TTPD will go down as my very favorite Taylor album! It's just SO. GOOD. I've been listening a lot lately! Some of my faves are The Black Dog, Guilty as Sin?, But Daddy I Love Him, Cassandra, and Robin. I mean, I truly love all 31, but these 5 are always on repeat.

Have a happy, happy Wednesday!

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Let's Look: September 2024

Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
