What's Up Wednesday {June 2025}

 Happy Wednesday, friends!! I'm here to link up with Sheaffer and Shay to share all about our JUNE!

1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

As I am typing this, I have no idea. Hahaha. I just got back into town, and we haven't discussed this week's meals yet!

2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

Our trip to Charleston! I'll post a full recap next week, but here are a few pics!

3: WHAT I'M LOVING

I'm back on my little bright nail kick! This one is Lightening from L.A. Colors. Like $2 from Walmart, and it lasts really well!

4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

Weelllll, as I mentioned earlier, I have been out of town. That consisted of lots of shopping, walking, eating great food, and spending time with my mom, Libbey, and Mimi!

5: WHAT I'M DREADING

Ummm, getting back to reality after vacay! Boooooo. Ha!

6: WHAT I'M WORKING ON

I have a midterm next week, so I'll be studying and prepping for that!

7: WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

I'm excited for some much needed time at home doing nothing. I love to travel, but goodness I also love just being home!

8: WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

I am loving this show so much! It's funny and also talks about topics we should all be educating ourselves on.

9: WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

I just made a new playlist full of Taylor, Kelsea, Sabrina, and Ariana! Loving their music lately!

10: WHAT I'M WEARING

Dresses, dresses, and more dresses. I had two people ask me if this one was Hillhouse while I was shopping on King Street last week. Ummm, less than $25 on Amazon!!

11: WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

I have ZERO plans!

12: WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

Lots of birthdays next month (including Caleb's!) and then my mom and I are headed to her friend's house at the beach for a few days!

13: FAVORITE PURCHASE THIS MONTH

I made lots of great purchases in Charleston....

These pjs might be my favorite though! I am OBSESSED. I stayed in them all day yesterday 😂. I always size up in Lake!

I hope you all have had a great June! See y'all tomorrow for Monthly Musings!

Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...

Friday Favorites {10.18.24}

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...
