Happy Tuesday, friends!! Today I am sharing part TWO of our Hot Springs, Arkansas, trip right before Christmas!
Sunday, December 21
On our second full day, we headed to Oaklawn for the horse races! I have to admit, I did not want to go to this. But once I got there, it was so much more fun than I expected. I actually really loved it! I definitely recommend this if you're traveling to Hot Springs!
Once we left Oaklawn, we headed downtown. We kind of "talked up" the Arlington "haunted" hotel, and Reid was so excited for that- lol. We stopped by the cute gingerbread house in the lobby and wrote a letter to Santa. Then, we headed upstairs to see if we could see any hauntings 😆. Nada.
We walked around a bit and went inside the bathhouse museum. So interesting.
The downtown area is adorable and has so many little shops and boutiques. My favorite was the soapery!
This was such a fun day! Have a great Tuesday!

This makes me miss Hot Springs! I grew up going there with my Dad, but we usually just stayed more at the condo and did the water activities on Lake Hamilton. I love Bathhouse Row! I did that one year- got a bath/massage package for an afternoon. It was amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun! I bet the bath and massage was fabulous! That’s something I wish we had done while we were there.
