Friday Favorites {3.20.26}

 Finally Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week. My sweet boy at school brought us all these sweet little bunnies as a little happy!  I thought they were so cute like this! I will cherish these forever! I'm now down to my last serving of thin mints....goodness I love Girl Scout cookies! My favorites are Samoas, but thin mints are a close second- in the freezer of course! Loved this that I came across on Pinterest. Gosh, so true! Been thinking about it since I saw it. Really makes me stop and think about the things I have, the people I love and that love me, and thing I get to do and see. Ahhh! I am OBSESSED with our new living room chairs. I have been wanting at least one more chair for this space, but I decided to go for two and so glad I did!! Still have this chair, just in this little nook by the window! Love how cozy it is! I really love the two chairs for this reason here! I can sit in on...

Beauty Faves Lately

 Happy Thursday!! We have almost made it to the weekend! I don't know about y'all, but this week has felt extremely slow for me. Anyway, let's talk about my favorite beauty products lately! Redken Quick Blowout I can't really say this works for blow out- I'm prob not using it right and my hair is so difficult haha. But LOVE for heat protectant and it smells sooooo 😍😍💸💸💸 Also buying this because my hair girl used on me the other day! Anything to cut my blow dry time down. Plus it has heat protectant too! I don't love mixing too many products at once because my hair gets oily quick so love when a product is 2 in 1!! Batiste Dry Shampoo I've tried them all and this is simply the best. It just works and I can get when I buy groceries haha.  Face Creams Love me some Ponds!! These three are in my rotation right now. I use the Ponds to take off makeup and then will use as night moisturizer some times. Also love Tatcha but wanted to try Magic Cream from Charlot...

All The Things I Love About Blogging

 Happy Wednesday! I thought this would be a fun post to share with you all! Today I am talking about all the things I love about BLOGGING! 1. It gives me a space to WRITE. I have always loved writing, and that is one of the main reasons I started this blog! 2. Connecting with others. I love going to other blogs, and I so appreciate when you all read here and comment. It's so fun! The blogs I visit the most are: Holly- Pink Lady Joanne- My Slices of Life Jenn- My Joyful Life Amy- Coffee and Cocktails at the Casa Sarah- Sunshine and Books Kim- Life as Kim Shay- Mix and Match Mama Erika- A Little Bit of Everything 3. I love to look back at old posts. This is probably my favorite! Sometimes after I finish a post, I will just go back through and read old posts. It's so much fun to see what all I have posted about and how things have changed over the years. 4. It's easy to find pictures of random things I need. For example, the other day my Mimi and I were talking about what Cale...

Quick and Easy Trader Joe's Dinner

 Happy Tuesday! When we went to Trader Joe's a few weekends ago I picked up a frozen pasta to have for dinner one night, and I'm sharing about it today! Quick, easy, delish!  Took literally 7 minutes to heat, and it was so good! If you don't have Trader Joe's near you, I have tried similar versions from my regular grocery store. Pair with a salad and bread, and you're done! I didn't think it was spicy at all, so I added crushed red pepper. You could also sprinkle parm on top, but I am weird and don't like parm on my pasta😂. I grabbed another kind of pasta, too that I will let you know about once I try it! I paired this wine with it, also from Trader Joe's- so good! Definitely a new fave wine.

Hello Monday {3.16.26}

 Hello Monday!! As always, I am linking up with Holly and Sarah today to share about my weekend. We jumped on the bandwagon and started Love Story. My whole life (and Tik Tok for you page) is now consumed by CBK and JFK Jr. 😂. I don't know how historically accurate this show could possibly be, but it's a good watch. I slept in on Saturday and then enjoyed my coffee on the couch in my pjs. We really didn't do a whole lot this weekend, which was a nice end to my week off.  We went to Lowe's and then Sonic- we were going just for a drink, but we decided to get some snacks too which ended up being our dinner at 4:30 🤷‍♀️. Dirty Diet Coke and onion rings for me! Sunday grocery store OOTD. I finally received my white button down from Quince , and I am obsessed! It's a bit sheer for my liking, so I put on a white tank underneath. I got a medium, and I think it fits great. I hope you all had a great, restful weekend.

Friday Favorites {3.13.26}

 It's Friday the 13th!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm coming to you a little late this morning, but I'm here to share some favorites from my week with you! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea. Well, my week was MADE early when my grocery store had my favorite creamer! They've had this brand for years but never the cookie dough flavor. YAY!  They also had these pretzels that I fell in love with on a Southwest flight. They are so good! I watched Wicked- both movies!- on Monday, so that is for sure a favorite! This was my first time to see For Good since I saw it in theaters back in November. Just as amazing as I remembered! For those of you on Tik Tok, have y'all seen Jen Morales? She makes some amazing looking food, and when I saw this salmon piccata I knew I had to make it. She made garlic mashed potatoes to go with hers, but I used orzo instead. We both LOVED it. I will definitely make it again!  My travel day ootd! I was feeling super springy! ...

Let's Look: March 2026

 Happy Wednesday, friends! It's time for the March edition of LET'S LOOK. In January, we "looked" at  THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. In February, we "looked" at WAYS WE'VE TURNED INTO OUR PARENTS. As for today, we are "looking" at.... FAVORITE FAMILY VACATIONS. Oh how I love this topic. I love love love a vacay! Let's take it all the way back to my childhood. My mom's entire family used to rent a big beach house for a week in Destin, Florida, and it was so much fun! Here are a few pics from those trips over the years.... Goodness, those were good times! A great portion of my childhood memories surround these trips and for that I am so grateful. DISNEY!! Of course this is a fave! My parents took me when I was two, but I don't remember that. The first trip I remember is when my parents took Lib and I in 2009. I remember riding Rockin' Roller Coaster and falling in love....makes me sad it's getting a new theme. We also hap...
