Friday Favorites {1.13.23}

Finally Friday!! Caleb and I have been home sick the past few days, which is definitely NOT a favorite. SO-I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some goodies from the week!

I got these at Ulta recently and looove them! They make my face feel so clean and fresh. I use them probably 2-3 times a week, because they can irritate your skin a little if you use them too much. You rub the little pad all over your face, neck, and back of your hands, and then wash it off after a few minutes. (I have a post on my complete skin care routine here!)
I usually do my own gel nails, but I started a horrible habit of peeling off the polish and completely wrecked my nails. Like badly bruised, and I'm scared they're going to fall off. #oops SO, I've gone back to regular polish, and I love this dry fast top coat. The polish color I have on in the picture is Essie Mod Square, and I think it's the perfect pink.

Do you love your hair products as much as I love mine??? I've been using Monat for almost a year now, and I really love it. Their scalp scrub is one of my favorites! Right before I started Monat, I was using Olaplex and then Moraccanoil, and my hair really did not like those, so I needed a change. I've really seen a huge difference since starting back in April! I've also had to learn to be more intentional about my hair washing routine. I get much better results this way.

What did you think of my Closet Chat on Tuesday? I think it's a fun little series! If you missed it, check it out and let me know what you think.
Lastly, here's what I've been binging this week...
I loved season 2! Ginny and Georgia's relationship is so complicated and intense, yet they have the best mother/daughter bond. I love any kind of show that has me on the edge of my seat and clicking "next episode" as fast as I can, and this really does that for me. It's sweet, silly, sad, and suspenseful all wrapped up into one. I highly recommend this one! It will have you crying in one scene and then laughing your head off in the next, and it may go down as one of my favorite shows of all time.

Here's to a fabulous weekend! We'll be hanging out on the couch watching either The Office or Modern Family. What do your weekend plans look like? Kicked back and relaxed or busy, busy, busy? Whatever it is, I hope it's great!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
