Friday Favorites {3.3.23}

Heyyy FRIDAY! It's MY BIRTHDAY! I'm 23 on this 3.3.23! I turned 3 on 3.3.03, and I will turn 33 on 3.3.33. I think 3 is MY number! I have a separate super special birthday post if you want to check that out. Now, let's get into some faves on this Friday! As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some goodies from the week.

On Tuesday, I shared my FEBRUARY BOOK REVIEW! I think I may have found my favorite book for the whole year, although the book I just started is sooo good. It may be up there in the top three!
My skin care is absolutely a favorite! Yesterday's post was all about my new routine!
One week ago, I was on my way to Texas. It was my first time to visit, and I loved it! The traffic is crazy, and it's waayy different from Mississippi life, but we had a great time! Here are some of my favorite things about The Lone Star State:
I don't know if this is necessarily a Texas thing, but this chocolate store in the mall was amazing. Truffles galore! I'm going back there someday for sure.
Dutch Bros Coffee! Yes, please! We actually went twice, because we loved it so much. I think this was the "Annihilator" from their menu.
Oh, McKinney. You are cute. I can't wait to go back when we have time to actually walk around downtown and explore a little more!
Now for a shoe fave...

I saw these at Walmart and decided that if I didn't get them, I would regret it. (Pro Tip: Life is short. Buy the shoes!) For only $25, they're pretty comfy and SO cute! I love a good wedge for spring and summer.
I wore them yesterday with this outfit! The straps did rub my feet just a little but nothing too bad.
I've been on a little journey of getting rid of toxic products in our home, but I cannot part with my candles. I love a candle.
I'm basically taking everything to my sister in law and asking her if it's toxic or not.😂 She knows way more than I do, and she says soy candles are the way to go.
I'm loving this one! It's a fresh, clean scent. This one is soy and the wick does not contain lead. I think it's about as non-toxic as you're going to get for a candle. The scent is Vetiver Seagrass. Another favorite non-toxic candle of mine is the beloved Volcano by Capri Blue.
I also love Pura! We have a device in our bedroom and one in the living room. They say they are 100% non-toxic, so that's great! I also love that their scent refills are around $15 or less. Way cheaper than some candles!
Wit and Wisdom jeans are my FAVORITE! They are so comfy, fit great- with some stretch!-, and have a great price point! (For reference: I'm 5'8.5")
I've been wanting a flare jean for a while now, but I can never find any that are long enough. I tried these on at Nordstrom last weekend and immediately was like YES I'm getting these! I got a size 4. I'm usually a 2 in this brand- they normally run a size big for me. They didn't have a 2 in store, but the 4 fit me pretty well! I put my sneaker on just to see the length with a shoe on. I probably can't get away with too high of a heel, but I'm so happy that they are this long on me!

I'm not real brave when it comes to cropped jeans, but I loved the wash and hem on these, so I decided to give them a try. I may try to style them tomorrow for work! I got a 2 in this pair.
I think I could wear blue jeans every single day of my life and be perfectly happy. I love my jeans. Loft also makes a really great jean! My mom's friend that we stayed with in Dallas had on Hidden jeans, and she said they're amazing, so I may look into those. Any other great denim brands I should look out for? I just love Wit and Wisdom so much and know that I don't have to spend a ton of money for great jeans!
Gresham posted her March stacks yesterday, and I got some inspo for stacking with the bracelets I already own! They're so cute!
Perfect pinch-proof stack!

This one gives me tropical vacay vibes!

Have a happy Friday friends! I'm off to read my book. Cheers to a great weekend!

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Ummm YAY!! I'm most excited about Confessions of a Christmas Letter (Angela from The Office is starring in that one!) and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story! For some foodie faves... This right here. It made my week. I'm obsessed with the tuna from Beagle Bagel. It's amazing. I can never say it enough! I made egg drop soup for the lunch the other day, and it was really good! It's always been my favorite soup from Chinese buffets. I didn't feel great and wanted a soup...luckily I had all the ingredients. I used this recipe here. The weather this week was absolute perfection.  I mean, it was really, really cool. And it was fabulous. So, that means.... I broke out a sweater and my Sorel booties that I love so much! I always forget how good the Bible app is. I opened it up...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...
