Friday Favorites {12.6.24}

 Happy first Friday of December! This month already seems to be FLYING by! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week, and since I missed last week, I'll share those faves too!

Before we get into some favorites, I just wanted to mention that tomorrow marks two years since I started this blog! I shared all about it yesterday, but I wanted to say another thank you to all of you who read my blog- it means so much to me!

My love of Diet Coke runs deep. And so does my love of all things Christmas. As does my love of road trips. So seeing Santa on Diet Coke bottles made my road trip heart so happy last week!

For some beach faves....

We tried this burger spot in Seaside...

However, I am not a burger person. Ha! So, chicken ceaser salad for me. BUT, their fried pickles were so good!

We got to see one of our favorite people in the Seaside Nutcracker performance! It was so much fun!!

And then we found a really good restaurant in Fort Walton. Plus, they were so nice to seat us about 10 minutes before they closed.

Shopping is one of my favorite things to do already, but to add Christmas lights to it is really just the cherry on top!

I started this advent devotional, and I am really enjoying it!

This is my favorite little spot currently. The different trees just make me so happy! If you want to see the rest of my Christmas decor, you can find that here!

Monday night, I made one of my very favorite soups. It has been really cold here lately, so soup and a warm blanket has been the perfect combo.

Can you feel my excitement through your screen?? I was so excited when Taylor announced that she was releasing this book. The pictures and stories are all so amazing. This would make a perfect Christmas or birthday gift for the Swifties in your life!

Spotify Wrapped came out this week, and I couldn't help but just laugh at mine...

First of all. GOOD GRIEF. This was the day The Tortured Poets Department was released, and I'm just wondering if I did anything productive that day 😂.

And for my top songs and artists...

Really no surprise here. Ha!

Have a great weekend!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST. On my drive home from work yesterday.... This was a fun little surprise. I don't remember this from last year! I hope you all have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday! However, whatever, whenever, whereve...
