Two Year "Blogiversary"

Happy Thursday! Saturday will mark TWO years of this little blogging adventure of mine!

Two years has gone by so fast, and I want to thank each and every one of you for coming here each to read my little blog. Whether you found me through a link up, Instagram (which, sorry, I haven't posted there in a while!), or just stumbled across this page somehow, THANK YOU for deciding to stick around!

I have loved having this space to write my feelings, share fun home decor or outfits, link up with other bloggers, interact with you all in my comments, talk about Taylor Swift 😂, share the trips we have been on, share our favorite recipes, and so much more.

Now for a trip down memory lane! Since my first "blogiversary", we have......

Of course, we made more trips to Trader Joe's!

We went on what I called a "Christmas Cruise"! I was scared to get on the ship, but it actually was so fun!!

I started linking up with Holly and Patty each month for Monthly Musings!

I turned 24!! Here's how we spent my bday weekend.

We spent Spring Break in Nashville.

We visited my mom's bestie in Navarre, FL.

Caleb and I celebrated two years of marriage.

My fam went to Grayton Beach for the Fourth of July!

Caleb and I went to Charleston for the first time and LOVED it. I want to go back!! I also got visit my most favorite boutique, Mimi Seabrook!!

My sister and I went to THE ERAS TOUR!!! Can you tell how happy that makes me?? My little 6 year old self who fell in love with Taylor while watching the Teardrops On My Guitar music video on CMT lived her best life at Nola N3!

We went back to Navarre to visit our favorite people during Thanksgiving Break. And this time came with matching pjs for us all!

And I decorated for Christmas again, but changed up the color scheme a bit.

What a fun year it has been!

If you come to read my blog each day or visit my site from different link ups, read in the morning with a cup of coffee or at night with a glass of wine, however and whenever you read, THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you! It means so much to me when you read or leave a comment. This has been fun journey thus far, and I cannot wait to see what year 3 brings!

  1. Charleston is my most favorite city in the whole US. My husband and I used to live not far from there, in Summerville SC. It is easy to get lost in the historic district and not care 😁

Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Happy last Friday of August! As always, I am here to link up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from my week.  To be honest, it feels out of touch to make this post. After the devastating news of yet another school shooting, my heart is so heavy. Innocent lives taken and still no changes from people in power. I honestly do not know how anyone can see news like this and not be enraged and demanding for change. I do not get political on here, because that is not what I want for this space. However, I feel the need to share my thoughts about this. America needs gun control. ALL Americans need access to healthcare, especially when it comes to mental health. America needs change. Remember these things when you vote. Think about your babies, their friends, their teachers. Stay aware, stay educated. But also please make sure you spend time doing things that bring you joy (it's good for your mental health!). That is at least what I am going to do. With that being said, here ar...
