Las Vegas {Part Two}

 Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing PART TWO of our trip to Las Vegas after Christmas. If you want to check out part one, you can find that HERE. I also made a separate post for all things Vegas food and drink that you can find HERE.

Monday, December 29

After a bit of a headache with Uber car rental, we rented cars from Enterprise and headed to Henderson, Nevada. We had plans to visit the Grand Canyon and stay somewhere that way, but ultimately decided it just wasn't worth it based on prices and our time.

We wanted to go back and eat at Black Bear Diner after eating there last time we were in Vegas. So good!

Then, we made a Trader Joe's run!






We did drive through and look at the Hoover Dam. So neat!!

Back to the strip! Lady Lib up close and personal! We stayed at NY, NY our last trip and loved it! Much like Paris, the attention to detail is so fun!





For the rest of our trip, we stayed at the Flamingo hotel! Yes yes yes to all the PINK. This is an older hotel, but I honestly had no idea. It was super cute and is undergoing some renovations.

Right outside of the hotel was a cute little area with shops and restaurants, as well at the High Roller (ferris wheel) and zip lining. 

I played a bit of roulette. Lost it all. BUMMER.

Friday Favorites {6.6.25}

 Happy Friday, friends!! How was your week? One of my summer classes started this week, so I have been getting back into a bit of a routine which is nice! As always, I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week.  How cute is our new wreath sash?? My mom got it for us, and I am obsessed! Lots of food faves this week.... Another salsa I am now obsessed with! I found this at Aldi, and y'all it is SO good! I used it in a recipe, but I am definitely going to get another jar to eat for a snack or with lunch or dinner! Now for a Tik Tok "recipe". I used quotations, because it's really just a chop/open a can and throw together situation. Corn, black beans, pinto beans, onion, tomato, cilantro. I ate it with tortilla chips for lunch this week. It was so good! Next time, I would add more tomato and use less onion (maybe even no onion at all), and I should have chopped up the cilantro a little better! I also squeezed in some lime juice and added salt a...

Friday Favorites {12.20.24}

 Happy Friday, friends!! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve- that's a thing, right??😂 I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from the week, and then I will be off for the holidays! My plan is to see y'all back here on January 13! For some food faves.... I grabbed the raspberry kringle at Aldi the other day after seeing so many positive reviews on it. It is really good!! I had some with a cup of coffee a couple times this week! Last night, Caleb made lasagna soup- YUM. Definitely a favorite of mine lately! A great way to end the night.... Caleb made me a cosmopolitan the other night. Yum! I am really going to miss this sight.... This is my favorite time of year for sure! Twinkly lights and candle light = the BEST.
