Friday Favorites {8.18.23}

YAY for FRIDAY! I'm so excited to say "it's the weekend" these days, since Saturday is no longer a work day for me! I have really been enjoying my Saturdays! I've also found myself thinking gosh I'm so glad I'm not working anymore because I would be missing out on [this] right now if I were. It's really the little things😂. 

As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to bring you some faves from the week! Grab a cup of coffee and cozy up- we had the slightest "cool" weather temps this week (and by that I mean it was in the 80s😂), and I am READY for fall! Sadly, though, those temps are only going to rise right back up into the high 90s. Summer, I love you, but I believe it's time we go our separate ways. (But honestly how are we ALREADY done with the third week of August??? Taylor Swift meant it when she said "August slipped away into a moment of time".........)

Gresham Bracelets! Yep, matched them to my leggings😉. I also love that nail color! OPI Rich Girls and Po-Boys. (They have the best polish AND names for the colors!)

Last week, I asked for prayers for my sister who was going through sorority recruitment. Well, on Tuesday she ran HOME to Tri Delta! 

How CUTE are these balloons?! I'm so happy for her, and we all know she landed in the exact right place- especially when she found the pickle bar at the house😂. 

One of my favorite people to follow on IG is @annesnowlifestyle - she's a FasterWay to Fat Loss coach, a busy mom of three, AND has the cutest style! 

I looked back through her IG for recipe inspo for the week, and I decided to make these Carnitas Pork Tacos. They were SO easy and SO good!

As you may know, I started school this week! I'm currently doing all my work at the kitchen table, but I've made it a cute and cozy little space. So far, everything is going well- I'm hoping that lasts! Also, I'm eventually going to put together a post of all my "desk essentials."

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
