Friday Favorites {1.19.23}

 

It's finally Friday!! How was your week? We were stuck inside for a god bit of the week thanks to the ice, and my spring semester of school started back on Tuesday! Today, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week!

First, let's recap the week on my blog! 

On Monday, I joined Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and recapped our weekend. This weekend, I'm determined to take. more. pictures!!!

Tuesday was PART THREE of our "Christmas Cruise."

As for Wednesday, it was the first "Let's Look" for 2024, and we shared how we clean our closets! 

I wrapped up the Christmas Cruise recap posts with PART FOUR yesterday. You can read PART ONE here and PART TWO here. It was such a fun trip! 

Now, let's get into some of my favorite things/moments from this week! 

I wanted to refresh a little bit, so I grabbed some new throw pillows from Amazon! I got these light blue velvet pillow cases for the couch. I already had the inserts- they came from Crate and Barrel.

I also got these for our bed! Pillow cases here and inserts here. I'm really impressed with the quality of all of the pillow cases and inserts. I'm waiting on one more pillow case to arrive for our chair in the living room. 

Another GREAT Amazon find! This is a really great "dupe" for the Lulu scuba sweatshirt for a fraction of the cost! I actually like this one better than the real thing. It's quite a bit thicker, which I like. This was my "ice day" outfit! 

Here you can see the ice on our porch. BRRRRRRR.

I've been adding about a half of a pack of Truvia to my morning coffee, and so far I really like it! The older I get, the less sweet I like my coffee. 2-3 tablespoons of Nut Pods and half a pack of Truvia has been perfect.

Another freezing cold night, so very thick socks were needed! I got mine from Academy last year. These are pretty similar! 

These protein pancakes are SO good! I honestly didn't have high hopes for them, but I really like them! I'm trying to work on adding a lot more protein throughout my day! I found these at Kroger.

    Sounds like a great week. Chilly but snug. And I need to try those pancakes....I've seen them at the store but did think they would be worth it. Hmm - now I am interested:)

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
