Friday Favorites {8.30.24}

 Happy happy Friday!! As always, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some faves from the week! A Christmas tea in August! My favorite Christmas tea is called "Jingle Bell Juice," and I actually got this one made into a "specialty," so it has protein in it! YUM. A new Aldi find!! I have never seen this at my store before. I was hoping it would taste like Trader Joe's ranch, and it kinda does! I'm not a big Hidden Valley fan, so this is much better in my opinion. Y'all know my love for Mimi Seabrook, but it's not just for the clothes and accessories. Every time I get an order, it's packaged with a Bible verse card and a hand written, personalized note on the order slip. I think it really sets them apart from other boutiques, and it's really part of the reason I continue to order from them! After seeing SO many good things about Olive and June, I decided to just go for it. I ordered the long-lasting top and a long-lasting shade (St

Monthly Musings {August 2024}

 Happy Thursday, friends! I'm here to link up with Holly and Patty for Monthly Musings! Here are the questions for August! 1. Do you meal plan? This depends on my mood for the week 😂. Sometimes yes, sometimes nope. 2. Back to school traditions. When I was growing up, we always went out to eat the night before the first day of school. We also got new school clothes and shoes. I loved that so much! 3. Clothes and supplies shopping. Well, since I don't have kids, I'll do this for my clothes and supplies. Y'all know I love Mimi Seabrook and Nordstrom for all my clothes!  As far as school supplies, I usually just get new flair pens from Walmart. I also love Tul notebooks and pens from Office Depot. 4. How I transition my wardrobe to fall. Lots of basics!! Basic tees that can paired with shorts or jeans. Add a cardigan. BAM. My favorite outfit ever since 2016. Ha! Short dresses that are long sleeved are also great to transition from end of summer to fall. 5. Anymore end of s

What's Up Wednesday {August 2024}

 Goodness, this year is going by SO FAST! Before we know it, we'll be putting that Christmas tree up again.... Anyone thinking of this scene from Friends?? 😂😂😂 Ok, let's get into what our August looked like! I''m linking up with Sheaffer and Shay for What's Up Wednesday!  1: WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK We ate at Beagle Bagel on Sunday and brought home some things to eat on this week. Once that's gone (which it almost is 😂), I have no clue what we'll be eating. 2: WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT Thanksgiving! I'm not sure what made me start reminiscing about this, but I am not getting so excited for all the food and family coming soon! 3: WHAT I'M LOVING Fall nail colors!! I've brought them out already, anyone else? When we were in Madison this past weekend, I saw lots of ladies already sporting their fall shades. This color is OPI Lincoln Park After Dark. I also have a post on favorite fall nail colors HERE. 4: WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO W

Charleston {Part Three}

 Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing PART THREE of our Charleston trip! In case you missed it, you can find parts one and two HERE.  So, here's how we spent our Thursday in Charleston..... We got up, got ready, and headed to the Charleston City Market. This was such a neat place to walk through. We didn't buy anything, but we looked at everything! This was one place I wanted to find most! Obviously, it's not THE The Black Dog from Taylor Swift's song, but it's close enough for now 😉. Back on King Street for a bit more shopping. I went in Sephora to replenish some moisturizer, but that's all. Nothing too exciting. And then I got some house inspo down by the Battery..... I mean. Stunning, right??? We just walked along here for a bit. And then we decided it was time for lunch. This place was highly recommended to us, and my sister said she is pretty sure she's eaten here. It was good- Caleb said it was his favorite place we ate all week. I'm not a big seafoo

Hello Monday {8.26.24}

 Happy last Monday of August!! My pumpkins are definitely coming out next week! Today I'm linking up with Holly and Sarah to share about my weekend! Friday after Caleb got off of work, we headed out to spend the weekend with our families! I didn't take any pictures Friday night, but I bet you can all guess what we had for dinner...Mexican! Saturday morning, my FIL made a big breakfast for us and got us Starbucks! My first PSL of the season!! After breakfast, I got ready and then headed to see my sister at the nutrition shop! I actually got just a beauty booster instead of a tea. It was good, but I did bring a tea mix home with me to drink this morning 😉. Saturday evening, my mom and step dad took me and Caleb to a local steakhouse that was SO good!! I didn't get any pictures at the restaurant, but here's a pic from our drive home! Then it was wine and a movie when we got back to the house! We watched Twisters- it was good but dang it was quite intense! Sunday after chu
