OUR BEST TRAVEL TIPS! I love to travel, and I pretty much do the same things whether I'm traveling by car or plane- and later this year I'll be traveling by boat for the first time! (What are your best cruise tips??? I'm nervous!)

I ALWAYS have a big bag filled with my essentials. 

I usually carry my biggest Barrington tote. In this bag I have my...

-chargers

-AirPods

-lip balm/gloss

-nail file

-book or Kindle

-medicine

-snacks/candy/gum

-blanket or cardigan

-wallet

PACKING CUBES! 

If I'm traveling with my big rolling suitcase, I definitely have my packing cubes! I need to get better about using them just in a duffle too. I have these from Amazon! 

Plan out your outfits ahead of time and try on everything complete with shoes, jewelry, and other accessories. 

I try to pack a good amount of nice, casual, and lounge/athleisure outfits. I'm definitely an over-packer, too. I'd rather have too much than not enough, though I do try to keep shoes and jewelry simple. I pack accessories that will go with pretty much everything! 

Go with the flow! 

This is something I'm not very good at, but I try really hard😂. I try to tell myself that no matter what, great memories will be made, and I'll have fun no matter what. 

TAKE THE PICTURES!! 

I know people are always saying "put your phone down and live in the moment," BUT if you take tons of pictures, you'll be so thankful days, weeks, months, and years down the road.

Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times 😂. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... 😂😂😂 "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
