Friday Favorites {2.23.24}

It's Friday!! Yay for the weekend!! As always, I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika to share some faves from the week!

This week on my blog....

I recapped our weekend.

I shared our quick and easy dinners for the week.

We made a couple of home updates.

And I gave some tips on how I sleep well.

Now here are some glimpses of my week that made me happy 😊.

I finished reading Ezekiel this week. I read and finished Joel. And now I'm reading Daniel. So far, I'm really liking Daniel!

Speaking of.....

This little passage was a great reminder yesterday morning.

A fave low carb lunch of mine from this week...

Pimento cheese and pork skins. My FWTFL coach shared about this, so I decided to try it. I was a little skeptical at first, but dang it was so good! I really prefer to make my own pimento cheese, but in a pinch I grabbed some from Aldi, and it's actually really good. I also have been eating those little turkey bites all week long!

When I was making my coffee one morning, I noticed my packets of Truvia had little inspirational sayings on all of them!

Here are just a few I grabbed out to show you all! I now read them every morning, and it's a sweet little pick me up!

Short and sweet this week- it FLEW by, right? Can you believe that this time next week, it will be MARCH?? Have a great day!!

 Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a great week! I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea today to share some faves from my week. Well guess what is back tonight?? NEW Hallmark Christmas movies!! Let's Look: September 2024

 Hey, friends! I hope you are having a great week so far! Today is the September edition of Let's Look. But before I get into that, I want to talk a bit about today, September 11. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on 9/11. I was only one year old when this happened, so I obviously do not remember where I was or what I was doing or anything from this day. All I know is because of the people who continue to honor to victims and the heroes of this day. I have had the honor of visiting the memorial and museum in NYC twice now, and both times I have been were such an incredible experience. Visiting there is heavy. It is sad. It's informative. It's also beautiful to see how our country came together in such an awful time. I love this picture that I took on my last visit. The leaves in the picture are from a tree that survived everything from that day 23 years ago. It was transported to a greenhouse for a while, but it was eventually moved back, and I loved that I could...
