Let's Look: June 2024

 It's my favorite link up day!! It's time for the June 2024 edition of Let's Look! I'm linking up with Erika and Shay today.

In January, we "looked" at How We Clean Our Closets.

In February, we "looked" at Little Things We Do Every Single Day.

In March, we "looked" at Our Grocery Carts.

In April, we "looked" at Our Daily Quiet Time.

In May, we "looked" at Our Summer Closet Staples.

As for today, we are "looking" at.......

OUR SUMMER SCHEDULE!

Well. As someone who does not work and who does not have children, my summer is super slow and a little boring. So, here's what my summer is looking like so far....

I am taking two classes this summer, one this month and one next month. Luckily, there is not a ton of work for this first class I'm taking. There are some days that I do not look at my school work at all, and there are some days when I work on it all afternoon.

We're headed to the beach in a few weeks!! (And in light of recent events, I will absolutely not be stepping foot in the ocean πŸ˜…) Other than that, we don't have any trips planned. Caleb and I are looking at going to Charleston at the end of the summer, though.

Does watching Bridgerton all day count as part of my schedule?? I mean, I have been looking forward to it for quite some time. Part Two is out TOMORROW, and if you need me, I'll be in front of the tv πŸ™‚.

My blogging schedule remains the same, unless I am out of town. I'm here Monday-Friday, and my posts normally go live at 4 am.

As far as working out, I try to do that in the mornings. I worked out Monday, but not Tuesday. So, I will probably be working out today.

On a normal week, I go to the store on Monday morning. If Caleb is not working on Sunday, we go together after church. There are some weeks though that I don't get to the store until later in the week, and I regret it each time πŸ˜‚. Monday morning, the second they open is the best time to visit Aldi in Starkville. And now this picture has me wishing for a Trader Joe's trip!

See? Quite boring- ha! Have a happy Wednesday!

  1. I am kinda like you only a lot older- I don´t work and though I do have kids, they are licensed, employed, have significant others they spend time, lots of friends, etc. meaning they don´t need much from their mama :(. (Though we do spent time together, thankfully!). My youngest was on Kiawah Island, SC last week and in the ocean every day. When she came home she said she was so glad to read about the ¨ocean events¨ after she got home from her trip!

Let's Look: January 2026

 Happy Wednesday!! Let's Look is one of my very favorite blog link ups and after not doing it last year, I am ready for it in 2026! I am linking up with Shay and Erika for this monthly series! Today, we are LOOKING at..... THINGS WE OUTSOURCE WITHOUT REGRET. Ok, there are so many things you can outsource that I just would rather do myself. I love to grocery shop. I think I would be weirded out by someone else doing my laundry. A house keeper is just not something we currently need or really want. BUT, there are occasions when outsourcing is just what needs to be done. Grocery Delivery/Pickup We don't do this often, but when we do it's pretty nice. That being said, I am usually ready to get back in the grocery store myself! Food Delivery This is another one we do not do often, but a Wednesday free delivery from Wingstop has sucked me in a few times πŸ˜‚. And of course, pizza delivery is always nice! Plus, we can get food delivered to the school I work out, so that's nice e...

Friday Favorites {4.2.26}

 Happy THURSDAY. My days are getting so mixed up with a Friday holiday haha! Posting Friday Faves a day early since tomorrow is Good Friday. Whoop whoop! We're getting a 7Brew!! I'm gonna let the new wear off before I go, but dang I am so excited for this! Have y'all tried it?? My sister gave me this MacKenzie Child's cookie jar for my bday and I love!! I made some white chocolate, peanut, and M&M clusters and they looked so cute in it! I will try just about anything once haha, but I finally jumped on the Tik Tok bandwagon and grabbed this facial brush for lymphatic drainage. My mind could very easily be playing tricks on me, but I'm gonna say I see a difference! Got mind from Amazon! And I cannot close out this post without mentioning Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! Please, please, please educate yourself on what it means to have Autism, how to explain it to your children, how to advocate, how to include, how to help- all the things!! Please remember, if...

Friday Favorites {12.19.25}

 And just like that.....it's CHRISTMAS BREAK! And my last post of 2025! But before all of that, let's get into some faves from my week! Linking up with Erika and Andrea. Some Christmas funnies for ya.... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ "Underground Spirit Week" We dress up or do something silly and the students have no idea, so it's constant confusion and laughter! So fun! Monday- PJ day. Tuesday-  Anything but a bag. Wednesday- Favorite Christmas song or movie character. Oh Christmas Tree, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, or as one student said...the Rockefeller Christmas Tree! Thursday- Christmas tree topper meets hat. This one did not last long in my hair...hahahah! Today is another PJ day for "Kinderland"! My name is Maddie, and I am obsessed with good smelling laundry.... These both smell AMAZING. The Wicked one smells exactly like the perfume I have been wearing- Jo Malone English Pear and Sweet Pea. Makes me sad that it's limited edition... I was looking for some go...
